Hammer Down Cancer Volleyball Game

Hammer Down Cancer returns to Holloway Gymnasium on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, as Purdue volleyball hosts the University of Albany at 6 p.m. The Purdue Institute for Cancer Research is proud to sponsor the match and bring Boilermaker fans together in support of cancer research at Purdue.

Holloway is one of Purdue’s most energetic venues, and that intensity makes it a fitting setting for a night focused on an equally determined pursuit: finding better ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Throughout the match, fans will have opportunities to learn more about the research happening at Purdue and the people working to move promising discoveries forward.

Come for the volleyball, wear your Hammer Down Cancer gear and help fill Holloway with support for the scientists, trainees and patients at the heart of this work.
